The West Africa Examination Council (WAEC) Board has just announced to the members of the public, but for mostly the Ghanaian Waec Candidates that begining from this year,(2013), the Ghana 2013 Waec Nov/Dec examination, will make use of Metal Detectors to check on Examination malpractices. (If this comes to Nigeria, I believe the Supervisors, School Principals should first be checked with the Metal Detector, as they are the main source of examination malpractice in Waec)

The Director of the Secondary Education at the Ghana Education Service, Rev. Simon Asige made this information known to news men, Rev. Simon said that the metal detectors will help Ghana educational board, to expose those with mobile phones and gadgets and also electronic calculators that are not allowed. (this is no problem for Nigerians)

The Waec candidates have been warned that any thing such as mobile phones are not allowed at all in the Examination centers across the Nation (Ghana).
The Waec Board told the candidates that Electronic calculators that can stores simple information are also not ALLOWED into the examination hall.
The Minister of Education also plead with the parents that they should assist them to effectively bring down the rate of examination malpractices in Ghana to a minimal level.
GHANA WAEC Officials announced that all the candidates and teachers who are practising exam malpractice should ceased or get arrested if they are caught.

Although this news is for Ghanian candidates, we believe, that the Nigeria WAEC board are going to follow suit (ssshhh, don’t give them Ideas).

All the Candidates participating in the Waec 2013 are adviced to stay away from Mal-practice and also read their books. (that is the best examination malpractice to follow, Just read your books, read it again and again and become a master of yourself).
