According to the director of information and public relation of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Dr. Emmanuel C. Ojukwu, he disclosed to newsmen over the weekend that about 135 impersonators have been arrested so far in the ongoing UNIZIK post-UTME Screening 2015/16. Dr. Emmanuel told Newsmen that those caught impersonating have been handed over to security agencies and will be charged to court soon.
Dr. Emmanuel C. also revealed that a total of 30,477 applicants have been screened so far. This figure does not include affiliated institutions such as Federal College of Education Technical Umunze, Enugu State College of Education Technical, Auchi Polytechnic, and Pope John Paul II Major Seminary Okpuno.
He noted that all candidates’ results will be uploaded on the website this week and that the checking of results will be free.
Note: Unizik Post UTME Result 2015 has been released.
The school administration said that admission into the Nnamdi Azikiwe University is purely on merit. Dr. Emmanuel advised aspirants not to give money to any individual or group of persons for admission as such money will be a waste.
It is on record that some persons including staff of the University who collected monetary values to assist candidates get admitted could not succeed last session (i.e. 2014/15 session).
As a result a staff of the university abandoned his work and ran away till today. The other one whose case was reported to the University administration has been dismissed from the institution.
