A lot of Nigeria Universities have shun ASUU and resume academic activities, and one of the latest to join them is The University of Port Harcourt (Uniport), on STV news 10:00 pm, the Spokepersons for Uniport told students to return to school before Sunday, 8th December, 2013.
This is to inform the students of the University of Port Harcourt that the Academic Activities has been scheduled to begin on the 8th December, 2013.

Update on ASUU 2013 Strike: The Federal government has meet the demands of Academic Staff Union of Universities, Asuu and hence the strike is expected to be called off before the 9th of Dec, 2013.
The FGN made this announcement after the meeting of the members today, tuesday, 3rd December, 2013.
FG deposits NGN200bn Universities infrastructure fund in CBN
Another good news is that the FGN has deposited the required money had been deposited in CBN. The Coordinating Minister of the Economy and Minister of Finance, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, had confirmed to Prof. Julius Okojie that the N200bn had been deposited in the Central Bank of Nigeria.
