Osun State University (UNIOSUN) Post UTME & Direct Entry Screening Form out for 2020/2021 Academic Session [Updated]

Osun State University, UNIOSUN Post UTME & Direct Entry (DE) Screening form, Cut-off Mark, Eligibility And Registration Details Has Been Announced for the 2020/2021 academic session.

UNIOSUN Post UTME Form

We are using this platform to inform the general public and most especially all the candidates who choose Osun State University as their FIRST CHOICE Institution in the 2020 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and scored a minimum of 180 and above, (200 cutoff point for some courses) that the UNIOSUN Post UTME screening registration has commenced.

Update:

Candidates Eligible for UNIOSUN Post-UTME Screening

Candidates who chose Osun State University as their First choice, with a minimum score of 160.

However, candidates that intend to study Accounting, Business Administration and Political Science must score at least 180 marks and above.

Note: However, candidates that scored less than 200 in their UTME would not be considered for admission into any of the following programmes:

  1. Common and Islamic Law
  2. Nursing
  3. Law
  4. Medicine

Meanwhile, aspirants who chose any of these courses but scored less than 200 can apply for a change of course to any other relevant programme of their choice.

The Osun State University will only admit candidates who made at least five (5) credit passes in WAEC/NECO/NABTEB in the relevant subjects at not more than two (2) sittings except for Medicine, Nursing, and Law, where candidates are expected to have at least five (5) credit passes in WAEC/NECO in the relevant subjects at one (1) sitting. The University also accepts a minimum of Lower credit for Direct Entry candidates.

Candidates should meticulously provide their O’ Level details on the UNIOSUN website. Any candidate found to have provided wrong information would be prosecuted by law enforcement agencies and the admission of such candidates withdrawn, once discovered. Candidates awaiting results should endeavor to provide it within one week of release. Any candidate who fails to participate in the screening exercise will not be considered for admission.

In line with the extant national policy, any candidate who will be less than Sixteen(16) years of age at the point of registration/documentation for the programme needs not to apply.

How to Apply for UNIOSUN Post UTME Screening

Eligible applicants are to register online by accessing the University website: http://www.uniosun.edu.ng or http://admissions.uniosun.edu.ng to complete and submit applications. They are expected to print two (2) copies of the application form after submission.

Payments of Two Thousand Naira (N2,000.00) for the Post UTME Screening is through the Interswitch Web PAY platform using your ATM cards (Mastercard, Verve card and Interswitch enabled Cards.

UNIOSUN Direct Entry Candidates

Direct Entry candidates who choose Osun State University as their choice, should complete the form on-line, following the same process as above, and ensure that they read the admission requirements of the university before applying to any of its programmes.

Direct Entry candidates are also expected to forward their Academic Transcripts to the Registrar of Osun State University not later than Friday, 11th September 2020.

ALL Direct Entry candidates including those of UNIOSUN (IJMB) Programme, who wish to be considered for admission into the institution for the 2020/2021 academic session, must have obtained Direct Entry Forms from JAMB (Joint Admission & Matriculation Board). Such candidates must apply for the screening exercise.

Change of Institution

Candidates who are willing to change from other Institutions to make Osun State University as their first choice are also eligible to register for the Post-UTME Screening exercise.

However, candidates who made UNIOSUN as their first choice but could not find their names on the first choice list should use the “OTHER CHOICE” option for their screening registration and supply their correct information which will be verified accordingly.

Central Admission Processing System (CAPS)

The 2020/2021 admission exercise will be based on Central Admission Processing System (CAPS), a system designed by Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) to automate the admissions process to tertiary institutions. All candidates are expected to upload their O’level results to the JAMB CAPS portal as a pre-condition for admission.

Visit the UNIOSUN Post UTME Portal via http://www.uniosun.edu.ng or http://admissions.uniosun.edu.ng. This will take you to the online Application Platform. Ensure you read all registration guidelines and instructions before proceeding to register.

  1. Please what’s the cut off mark for law(2015)cos my jamb score was 259 and my post utme is 65.9 do I still have hope in law?please

    1. No. According to the management, the admission screening will be based on Central Admission Processing System (CAPS).
