The University of Medical Sciences, Ondo State, UNIMED Post UTME & Direct Entry Screening Form for the 2020/2021 academic session has been announced. See admission requirements below
The University of Medical Sciences (UNIMED), Ondo, Ondo State is inviting all eligible candidates for admission into the Institution for the 2020/2021 Academic Session into the following faculties/disciplines:

Faculty of Dental Sciences
Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences
Faculty of Allied Health Sciences
- Medical Laboratory Science
Faculty of Nursing Science
- Nursing Science (B.NSc.)
Faculty of Science
- Physics (Electronics and Medical Physics Options)
- Biological Sciences (Animal & Environmental Biology; Microbiology; Plant Biology and Biotechnology Options)

Candidates must have select the University of Medical Sciences as their FIRST or SECOND Choice in the 2020 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and scored a minimum of 180 and above.
In addition, candidates who did not choose the UNIMED Ondo and are willing to change to the University are also eligible for the screening. (Click Here to Apply for change of Institution)
Candidates must possess Five (5) credit passes at one sitting in relevant O/level subjects including English Language and Maths for the MBBS/BDS programme and not more than two sittings in relevant O’Level subjects including English and Mathematics for other programmes.
Direct Entry Candidates Eligibility
Direct Entry candidates who have already applied via the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB, and who possess a minimum of 10 points in relevant ‘A’ level subjects or a B.Sc. (Hons) degree in the basic medical or biological sciences with a minimum of second class (lower division) is also eligible to apply for Medicine and Surgery and Dentistry Courses.
JAMB UTME Subject Combination
All courses in Faculties require; English Language, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in UTME.
Candidates in Mathematics require English Language, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or Biology in UTME.
How to Apply for UNIMED Post UTME Screening
Go to the University’s portal at; www.unimed.edu.ng. Then, take the following steps:
i. Click on Admission, Then click on Post-UTME to access the Post-UTME Portal;
ii. Click on Payment to make payment via online payment system using your VISA or MASTERCARD (Note that VERVE Card is not allowed)
iii. After payment, Print Payment Receipt
iv. On the Post-UTME Portal, Click on “APPLICATION FORM” enter your UTME Registration Number and Payment Transaction ID to complete the screening form.

UNIMED Ondo Post UTME Screening Date
University of Medical Sciences Post UTME Screening has been scheduled to commence from 25th November to 27th November 2020, beginning from 7.00 am daily.
However, candidates are to print out their exact date and time of screening later from the colleges’ portal.
Warning: Any candidate who fails to present him or herself for the Admission Screening Exercise will NOT be considered for admission into the institution for the 2020/2021 academic session.

Candidates are expected to come to the screening with the following;
- All candidates are requested to bring along the following items to the screening venue:
- JAMB UTME Notification of Results or Registration Slips for Direct-Entry Candidates;
- A printed copy of the completed 2020/2021 Admission Screening slip.
- Direct Entry Candidates are to forward their Transcript directly to the Registrar, University of Medical Sciences.
