UNILORIN Will Admit More Candidates In 2016/2017 Session Only If…

LATEST report reaching us here at nigeriaschool.com.ng has it that the Vice Chancellor of the University of Ilorin, UNILORIN, Prof. AbdulGaniyu Ambali, stated that more candidates will be admitted into the Institution in the 2016/2017 academic session if the National Universities Commission (NUC) will increases the admission quota of the college.

The VC, Professor AbdulGaniyu disclosed this while speaking in a radio programme he was featured.

Prof. Ambali A. mentioned that in 2015/2016 academic session the institution was able to admit 11 percent of the 103,000 candidates that applied for admission into the University due to the low admission quota by the National Universities Commission.

He also noted that most Nigerian youths cannot gain admission into their choice institutions due to the low carrying capacity of Nigerian universities.

Hence, the reason why a lot of people are looking for Admission outside the shore of our countries. We hope the next government will do something about this.
