University of Ilorin, UNILORIN To Admit 7,800 Candidates For the 2015/2016 Academic Session. We all know that Unilorin is among the most sort after University in Nigeria.
According to the report, the Vice chancellor, of University of Ilorin, Prof. Abdulganiyu Ambali, said that there are only 7,800 admission slots for the over 65,000 candidates that participated in the 2015/16 Unilorin post-UTME screening exercise.
According to the prof. a total of 65,000 candidates wrote the post UMTE computer-based test, out of which 30,384 candidates scored 50% and above.
The Vice Chancellor said the institution’s admission quota for this year was reduced by the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB. However, the institution has written to JAMB to increase the quota as the institution has what it takes to accommodate more students.
As at the time of writing this, Unilorin Merit Admission List 2015/2016 has not been released. We will inform you the moment it is out.
