UNICAL Expels 107 Students Who Used Fake O’level Certificates During Screening

Latest information reaching our news desk has it that about 107 students of the University of Calabar, Unical who were offered admission into the University with forged/fake O’level certificates between 2009 and 2012 have been expelled from the Institution!

The public relation Officer of UNICAL, Mr. Effiong Eyo, told newsmen that about 19 Direct Entry students in the 2011/2012 academic session were sanctioned for forged certificate.

The total number of students sanctioned in the departments are 107 and you can found them below.
Department of Curriculum and Teaching,
* Medical Laboratory, 65
* Sociology, 18
* Medicine and Surgery, 10
* Marketing, 10
* Law and Linguistics, 9
* Communication Studies, 8
* Accounting 4,
* Micro Biology 3,
* Vocational and Special Education 3,
* Human Kinetics and Health Anatomy 2,
* Political Science 2,
* Soil Science 2,
* Economics 2,
* Business Management 3,
* Philosophy 2,
* Agriculture 2,
* Modern Language 2,
* Educational Foundation Guidance Counseling 2
* 1 in the Departments of Geography and Regional Planning, Marine Chemistry, Public Administration, Chemistry, Maths/Statistics, Regional Planning, Library and Information Technology, History and International Studies respectively.

In a similar development, 48 students have been either suspended for either one or two years or outright expulsion for examination malpractice between the 2010/2011 and 2011/2012 academic sessions.

This is a warning for Jamb students with no complete results, don’t risk it, it is not worth the trouble. And if you know you got admitted into University with uncomplete O’Level results, please ensure you do what is right before you are screen out!
And those using FAKE Results for Admission, all i can say is SORRY.
You can imagine how much these students has paid up to this level, especially those in Faculty of Medicines.
