This is to inform the public in general and all the students of the University of Benin, UNIBEN, Edo State, Nigeria, that the school management has announced that academic activities of the University would commence on the 6th of January, 2014, after the long and lingering strike embarked by the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU. University of Benin second semester academic calendar 2014
4th January, 2014: UNIBEN Students come into residence to end Second Semester 2012/2013 session, marred by the ASUU strike.
6th January, 2014: Second semester lecture continues across all faculties.
17th January, 2014: Second semester lecture ends, and students prepare for the second semester examination.
27th January, 2014: second semester Examinations begins in all Faculties.
22nd March, 2014: UNIBEN students, New and Old, resume for 2013/2014 academic session.
