The latest information reaching us reveals that the University of Benin, Uniben, recently concluded part-time examination that was conducted on the 18th of January, 2014, the admission list has just been released and published on the school noticeboards.
The University of Benin had 6,000 applicants who bought the Form, but could only admit 3,000 applicants. The Uniben part-time screening exercise was held at the UDSS block, basement, and engineering all in the University of Benin.
50 per cent of applicants could not make up to the University cutoff mark as the university of benin placed their cut off mark at 50.
This is the first part-time examination that was conducted in Uniben after the cancellation of part-time programmes in Nigeria by National University Commission, (NUC) in 2012. Applicants who passed the cut-off were excited and showered encomiums on the organizers of the exam by first appreciating the Vice Chancellor of Uniben, Prof Osayuki Oshodin for his support.
