WE are using this medium to inform the general public that the management of the University of Abuja, has announced the Pre-admission screening procedure for the 2021/2022 academic session.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the University of Abuja (UNIABUJA) Undergraduate Degree Programmes for the 2021/2022 academic sessions. See the admission requirements, eligibility, and method of application below;
Eligibility
a.) Candidates who chose the University of Abuja as their FIRST CHOICE and scored 180 cut-off marks in the 2021 Universities Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) or applied through Direct Entry (DE) mode.
b.) Candidates for Direct Entry Admission will be required to upload both their O’ Levels and Higher qualifications accordingly to the University portal and attend the screening exercise.
c.) Possess at least five “O” level credit passes at not more than two (2) sittings in relevant subjects.
How to Apply for UNIABUJA Post UTME Screening
Eligible applicants are required to pay a processing fee of Two Thousand Naira (N2,000.00 only), through Remita Platform via the UNIABUJA Post-UTME Screening Portal.
Before commencement of registration, prospective applicant is required to have his/her JAMB/ UTME registration number and O’Level examination qualifying details handy with the respective results check scratch card details before proceeding to commence this application.
If you have the above ready, please follow the steps outlined below
Step 1. Visit the college portal @ portal.uniabuja.edu.ng and click on the “Click here to apply” tab
Step 2. Click Undergraduate link on the left side of your screen.
Step 3. Enter your JAMB Registration Number and Click on “Get details”
Step 4. Complete the basic information page (Please note: Enter a valid phone number and email address and click next).
Step 5. On the payment page, click on “Generate RRR” and this will take you to another page
Step 6. Click “Submit” and you will be redirected to the remita payment platform/page.
Step 7. Enter your ATM card (Mastercard or Visa) number and other details as appropriate and click “submit”
Step 8. Enter “OTP code” sent to your phone and click continue to complete your payment. (you can also use your token if applicable).
Step 9. After payment is successful, click on “Main login” on the portal, enter your Jamb Registration Number and Surname as password
Step 10. Click on “Login to dashboard” and complete your registration.
Step 11. Ensure you print the completed registration form, payment receipt and screening schedule.
NOTE: If you are debited and the network fails while completing your payment. You can enter your JAMB registration number and click “Get details”, then request for your unsuccessful payment attempt as shown below
