The latest report reaching us has it that the Delta State Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education, Prof. Patrick Muoboghare, has ordered the arrest of 3 secondary school teachers for allegedly forging the signatures of their respective principals as having nominated them to supervise the May/June Senior School Certificate examination.
Professor Patrick Muoboghare said and I quote: “Their action borders on criminality and therefore they deserved to be punished to serve as deterrent to others.”
The Commissioner, who is noted for personally going round to monitor the ongoing WAEC May/June 2014 examinations, once caught a 300 level undergraduate student of the Delta State University, Abraka, impersonating.
For those who are still engaging in Examination Malpractice, he advice them to have a rethink as the law may caught up with them before they know it.
