All candidates awarded the Simmons University Kotzen Scholarships will be provided with the following benefits listed below:

Qualification Requirements for the Simmons University Kotzen Scholarships 2026.

Students applying for the Simmons University Kotzen Scholarships are mandated to meet the requirements listed below. Please, if you don’t meet the eligibility criterias, don’t apply, there are other available scholarships for you. CLICK HERE to see other Scholarships with lesser requirements.

  • Required Language: All applicant should be able to speak and communicated in English Language.
  • Eligible Countries: Applicants from all countries are welcome to apply.
  • Standardized test score of 28 or higher (ACT), 1300 or higher (new SAT), or 1250 or higher (old SAT – CR+M). A minimum of 600 in each SAT section is strongly recommended.
  • Apply as a freshman for the fall semester.
  • Non-native English speakers must submit TOEFL and SAT or ACT scores.
  • College preparatory curriculum, including an advanced-level math course during or before your senior year of high school.
  • GPA of 3.3 or higher, unweighted.
  • A record of taking honors, advanced placement (AP), and international baccalaureate (IB) courses, as available in their high school systems.

How to Apply for the Simmons University Kotzen Scholarships:

STEP 1: The scholarship board of Simmons University has made it compulsory that all applicants must complete and submit both their scholarship application and their admission application to the college by December 1st.

STEP 2: Another compulsory requirement is that all applying students MUST submit their essays and resumes in PDF or Word Doc via email to the official scholarship email at: ugadm@simmons.edu with the subject line “Simmons Distinguished Scholar Award application” by December 1. Each page of the document should include the student’s full name and date of birth.

    • Formal Essay (of no more than 300-500 words): Write an essay in which you describe your leadership style, giving specific examples to show what kinds of experiences have shaped you as a leader and what kind of leader you think you will become at Simmons.

STEP 3: Final part is the interview, if you’ve reached the interview stage, congratulations! You’re among the finalists chosen for the scholarship consideration. There are two types of Interviews, Online and On-Campus interview. Students living within the USA can choose to complete an on-campus interview, which will be conducted in February. However, if you’re applying outside the USA, you can request for a Skype interview.
