Petroleum Training Institute (PTI) HND Admission Form for 2020/2021 Academic Session [Full-Time]

The Petroleum Training Institute, Effurun (PTI) Higher National Diploma (HND) Admission form for full-time programmes for the 2020/2021 academic session is now on sale.

The Petroleum Training Institute (PTI), Effurun, is using this platform to invite interested and suitably qualified candidates for admission into the under-mentioned Full-time programmes in Higher National Diploma (HND), National Diploma (ND) and Certificate Programmes for the 2020/2021 Session.

PTI Effurun HND Courses

The following programmes are available at Higher National Diploma (HND)levels.

• Petroleum Engineering Technology
• Welding and Fabrication Engineering Technology
• Industrial Safety and Environmental Technology

• Petroleum and Gas Processing Engineering Technology
• Mechanical Engineering Technology
  • {options: (1) Manufacturing, (2) Power Plant}
• Electrical/Electronic Engineering Technology
  • {options: (1) Instrumentation and Control (2) Electronics and Telecommunications (3) Power and Machines}
• Science Laboratory Technology
• Petroleum Marketing and Business Studies

Entry Requirements

• Applicants must possess five (5) Ordinary Level Credit passes relevant to the choice of programme which must include Mathematics ad English Language.
• Applicants must possess in addition to the above requirement, National Diploma (ND) relevant to their choice of programmes. [For details see online admission prospectus for 2020/2021 Academic Session].

Cost of PTI HND Form

Candidates applying for HND programmes are required to pay a non-refundable fee of ten thousand naira (N10,000.00) for each PTI Effurun HND admission form for the 2020/2021 Academic Session.

PROCEDURE FOR ONLINE APPLICATION

Prospective candidates should apply directly to the Petroleum Training Institute (PTI) Higher National Diploma programmes by following the steps outlined below:

• Visit the website at www.pti.edu.ng
• Click on “Apply for 2020/2021” (Or go to the page directly http://portal.pti.edu.ng/ApplicantsSignOn.aspx)
  
• Fill in the on–line “Sign on page” by Click on “Click Here to Sign Up” at the bottom of the page. (Note: Write down the Username and Password for subsequent/return use).
• This will take you to the Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) page where you generate the RRR code.
• Print the RRR code page and take it to any bank for payment. Make sure you keep the RRR code print out.
• After the payment of N10,000.00 which is the cost of each admission form,  return to the PTI website (www.pti.edu.ng) and click on “Return to my Application”. 
• Enter your UserName and Password and click LOGIN
• Fill in the online application form and print out the completed online application form which will be presented at the examination centre along with your RRR code print out.

IF AFTER PAYMENT, THE PORTAL STILL REJECTS YOUR USERNAME AND PASSWORD, THEN MAIL itsupport@pti.edu.ng with the RRR code.

Petroleum Training Institute, Effurun HND Interview Date

The interview for HND candidates will hold from 20th to 24th July 2020, at the Petroleum Training Institute, Effurun, Delta State. The transcripts of candidates offering HND programmes should reach the admission office from the institutions they graduated from on or before 19th July 2020. The transcript should be sent through courier service. While coming for the interview, candidates must come along with their evidence or receipt of transcript fee payment.

PTI HND Form Closing Date

The sales of the HND admission form will end on Tuesday, 30th June 2020.

LATE APPLICATION

Late online sales of PTI HND application form commences on 1st July 2020 and ends on 17th July 2020 at the cost of twelve thousand hundred naira (N12,000.00) per each form.
