This is to inform the Members of the Academic Staff Union of Universities, Obafemi Awolowo University(OAU), Ile-Ife that the election into the local Executive Branch has been scheduled to hold on Thurs. 28 March, 2013.
The following underlisued offices are open for election:
– The Chairperson
– The Vice-Chairperson
– The Secretary
– The Assistant Secretary
– The Treasurer
– The Financial Secretary
– The Internal Auditor
– The Welfare Officer
– The Investment Secretary
To be eligible to run as a branch officer, a member must:
(a) Not be on Sabbatical, leave of absence or study leave
(b) Not be a student in any university in Nigeria
(c) Be a confirmed staff
(d) Be an active member of the union
(e) Not have been found guilty of any anti union activities
(f) Not have been related in any form of financial related misconductor indictment
