OAU Ile-Ife Approved Academic Calendar 2014/2015 Session

WE are using this medium to inform the general public and most especially all the students of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife that the school senate has approved the 2014/2015 academic calendar.

The approved OAU 2014/2015 Academic Calendar has been released and published on the school for all the students to have easy access to it. you can find the full calender below;

* April 20th 2015: On-line screening for fresh students commences
* May 3rd 2015: Fresh students come into residence for 2014/2015 Harmattan semester
* May 4th 2015 :On-line registration of courses for 2014/2015 Harmattan semester commences
* May 4th-10th 2015: Orientation for fresh students
* May 11th-15th 2015: Clearance at faculty and admission offices
* May 10th 2015: Returning Undergraduates Resume
* May 11th 2015:Harmattan Semester lectures Begin
* May 20th 2015:Faculty/Student Colloquium
* May 27th:Senate
* June 2nd:End of normal Registration for courses
* June 3rd :Late Registration with penalty
* June 16th: MATRICULATION
* June 16th:End of late Registration with penalty
* June 17th-23rd:Continuous Assessment
* July 29th”Senate
* July 31st:Harmattan semester Lectures end

* August 3rd-7th:Revision/Lecture free week
* August 8th:Harmattan semester Examinations Begin
* August 22nd:Harmattan semester Examinations End

RAIN SEMESTER

* August 24th:On-line Registration for Courses for 2014/2015 Rain semester
* September 6th:All students come into Residence for Rain semester
* September 7th:Rain semester Lectures commence
* September 21st:End of normal Registration for courses
* September 23rd:Senate
* September 10th:Faculty Colloquium
* October 5th:End of late Registration with Penalty
* October 5th-9th:Continuous Assessment
* November 25th:Senate
* November 27th:Rain Semester Lectures End
* November 30th-Dec. 4th:Revision/Lecture free week
* December 9th-12th: Convocation
* December 7th-Dec. 21st:Rain Semester Examinations End
* December 23rd 2015:Senate (Examination)
* December 31st 2015:End of 2014/2015 session
* January. 4th 2016:2015/2016 Harmattan Semester Commences.
