UPDATE 2016 NYSC Batch B Registration/Mobilization Of Graduates (22nd October 2016)
NYSC wish to inform graduates from Nigeria Corps Producing Institutions that their Institutions have uploaded their names on the NYSC Portal. They are to visit www.nysc.org.ng effective from Monday 17th October 2016 to register and print their Exclusion Letters.
Again, all 2016 Batch B Prospective Corps Members who had earlier seen their names on the NYSC Portal, but can no longer see it, should be patient as their schools are still uploading because of approval was given to them to upload additional list.
Once the upload is completed, you will be able to check your names on the NYSC portal. PCMs are to note that passport photograph size requirement to be uploaded during the on-line registration must be 2×2 with an off-white background colour. Also, if the background does not conform to the standard, you will not be able to complete your on-line registration.

In order to ensure a seamless registration, prospective corps members are to note the following for strict compliance:

Prospective Corps members should ensure that they have functional e-mail addresses that they can access and Nigerian (GSM) telephone numbers with which to register.
Locally trained prospective Corps members are expected to use correct Matriculation numbers to register. For locally-trained graduates, only those whose names appear in the Senate/Academic Board Approved Result lists submitted by their Institutions will have access to the register on the NYSC portal.
Foreign-trained prospective corps members should ensure that their Institutions are accredited. Where in doubt, it is their responsibility to approach Federal Ministry of Education for verification. The letter of verification must be uploaded during registration.
Those who graduated from Institutions outside Nigeria, (Foreign-trained graduates), are to visit the NYSC portal, register and upload the following documents:
West African School Certificate(WASC) (with not less than 5 Credits at 2 sittings) or its equivalent; or General Certificate of Education (GCE O’ Level) (with not less than 5 Credits at 2 sittings) or its equivalent; or NECO (with not less than 5 Credits at 2 sittings) or its equivalent; or High School Diploma or its equivalent.
First Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) Certificate (Second Degree or PhD not necessary).
Transcript of the first Degree or HND.
International travelling Passport showing data page and date of departure for the course of study.
It is the responsibility of the prospective corps members who studied in non-English speaking countries to get their Certificates and Transcripts translated into the English language before uploading.
All graduates of Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, Physiotherapy, Radiology, Optometry, Medical Laboratory Science and Pharmacy are expected to have their Certificates of Registration with their professional bodies. Payment receipts are not acceptable.
Unlike in the past, Foreign-trained graduates should NOT visit NYSC Headquarters, Abuja for verification of their documents. This exercise will now be done at the Orientation Camps. They should simply print their call-up letters on-line and report at the Orientation camps in their States of deployment but should come to the camp with the original documents they uploaded for verification.
Anybody who presents any fake document will be demobilised and decamped.
Prospective corps members should ensure that Passport photographs used to meet the following specifications:
Ensure your face (eyes, nose, ears, mouth and jaw) is fully shown without bending
Ensure the picture fills the frame and centralised
Ensure the Photo background is white or off-white with no shadow.
Prospective corps members should not register by PROXY. They should also remember the fingers used for their biometric capturing as these will be used for verification at the orientation camps. Those who cannot be verified with their biometric at the orientation camp will not be registered.
Only prospective corps members who want their call-up numbers sent to them through SMS and wish to PRINT their call-up letters on-line are expected to pay the sum of Three Thousand Naira (N3,000.00) (see NYSC Portal on how to make payment).
Prospective Corps members who do not want to pay the N3,000.00 have the option of going to their schools to collect their call-up numbers and call-up letters.
All prospective corps members who paid for the online registration before but were not mobilised need not pay again.
Married female prospective corps members (whether locally or foreign-trained) should upload copies of their marriage Certificates, evidence of Change of name and their husbands’ place of domicile during registration.
The orientation camp is highly not ideal for pregnant and nursing mothers. Prospective corps members in this category are therefore to note that they will not be accommodated.

All Part-time graduates are expected to register online and wait for the collection of their Letter of Exclusion at their various Institutions. For those willing to print the Letter of Exclusion online, this can be done on payment of Three Thousand Naira (N3, 000.00) only.

NYSC Portal Now Accessible | 2016 Batch ‘B’ PCMs Can Proceed With Registration
We are using this platform to inform all the part-time graduates from Nigeria Corps Producing Institutions that their Varsity have uploaded their names on the NYSC Portal. They are to visit www.nysc.org.ng effective from Monday 17th October, 2016 to register and print their Exclusion Letters.

WARNING: The attention of the Management of the National Youth Service Corps has been drawn to information circulating in the internet directing prospective corps members to commence online registration for the 2016, Batch ‘B’ orientation course on 8th September, 2016.
Management wishes to inform all prospective corps members, parents, guardians and the general public, that no date has yet been fixed for the 2016 Batch ‘B’ orientation course.
The information did not emanate from the NYSC website, but the handiwork of scammers, whose intention is most likely to defraud unsuspecting prospective corps members and the general public.
As soon as Management comes up with the date for the forthcoming orientation course, this would be made known to all those concerned through our normal channels of communication.
We enjoin all prospective corps members to disregard the announcement in question, and wait for the correct information on the next orientation course which will soon be made known from our official platforms. 2016 NYSC Online Registration For Batch “B”
All the prospective corp members should follow the procedures below to register online.
Go to the NYSC online portal at: www.nysc.org.ng for online registration and biometric data capture. They should upload a Passport photograph with the following specifications:
(1) Ensure your face (eyes, nose, ears, mouth and jaw) is fully shown without bending.
(2) Ensure the photo is centralized and fills the frame.
(3) Ensure the Photo background is WHITE or off-white with no shadow.
How to print NYSC call-up letter and call-up Number online
Important Notice: Only prospective corps members who want their call-up numbers sent to them through SMS and wish to PRINT their call-up letters on-line are expected to pay the sum of Three Thousand Naira (N3,000.00) online (interested persons should visit NYSC Portal at portal.nysc.org.ng/ on how to make payment).
All the prospective Corps members who do not wish to pay the Three thousand naira, (N3,000) should visit their respective schools to collect their call-up numbers and call-up letters.
Closing Date for NYSC Batch ‘B’ Online Registration 2016
All the prospective corps members should take note that the NYSC on-line registration portal closing date has not been announced.
On this note, any corp member who have problems related to mobilization should go to the nearest NYSC Secretariats, see the Deployment and Relocation officer and lodge their complaints between (2015 session)
