NUC Approves Joseph Babalola University (JABU) for Her College of Law

The latest report reaching us here on Nigeriaschool.com.ng has it that Joseph Ayo Babalola University,Ikeji-Arakeji, Osun State has finally received the approval from the National Universities Commission, NUC, concerning their college of Law.

The approved name given to JABU by NUC is called first entrepreneurial university in Nigeria; hence, JABU Nigeria has been approved to run a College of Law.

According to reporter, who said that as the NUC team, arrived at the institution to establish its level of
preparedness for the commencement of the programmes in Law, gave its mandate to the University through mail sent to the Vice-Chancellor of the university, Professor Sola Fajana.

According to Professor Sola Fajana who said that all hands have been awaiting the approval of the programme, so the institution can run college of law. Intensive efforts have been made to ensure that the University is constantly in line with the provisions laid down by the regulatory body, he added.

However, NUC gave its approval for two programmes in the University, there are one Law (LLB) and Public Administration (B.Sc.).

And so the regulatory body admonished the University Management to provide adequate human and material resources for the development and growth of the approved programmes in JABU.
