This is to inform the general public that the management of the Nigerian Navy is inviting interested and suitably qualified Nigerians for enlistment into the Nigerian Navy Direct Short Service Commission (DSSC) Course 28.
Nigerian Navy Admission Requirements
(1) Interested applicants, who must be Nigerians by birth, should possess a minimum of Second Class Upper Division for first-degree holders and Upper Credit for HND holders.
(2) Male applicants must not be less than 1.68 metres tall while female applicants must not be less than 1.65 metres in height.
(3) Applicants must possess NYSC Discharge/Exemption Certificate and should be between 22 and 28 years by 7 January 2021, except for Imams/Chaplains and Medical Consultants who should not exceed 30 years and 40 years respectively by 7 January 2021.

How to Apply for Nigerian Navy Recruitment 2020/2021
The guidelines for the enlistment can be accessed on the Nigerian Navy Enlistment Portal www.joinnigeriannavy.com which will be opened from Monday, 7th September to Monday, 5th October 2020 for interested candidates to apply online.
Note:
All the processes ranging from online registration, aptitude test, and the selection interview are FREE OF CHARGE. Candidates are advised to be wary of scammers and refrain from giving money to any individual under any guise.
Nigeria Navy Aptitude Test
All the applicants will be shortlisted for a qualifying aptitude test. The date and time of the aptitude test will be communicated via the college’s portal.
Applicants are to choose any of the following centers for the qualifying aptitude test:
Abuja Centre:
- Army Day Secondary School, Mogadishu Barracks.
- Command Day Secondary School, Lungi Barracks.
Bauchi Centre:
- Command Day Secondary School, Shadawanka Barracks.
Owerrinta Centre:
Nigerian Navy Finance and Logistics College, Owerrinta, Imo State.
Lagos Centre:
- Nigerian Navy Secondary School, Navy Town Ojo.
- Navy Town Secondary School, Navy Town Ojo.
Port-Harcourt Centre:
- Nigerian Navy Secondary School, Borokiri.
- Air Force Secondary School, 115 Special Operations Group, Air Force
Base.
Sokoto Centre:
- Army Day Secondary School, Giginya Barracks.
Applicants are to appear for the Aptitude Test with the following:
- Photocopies of Degree and NYSC Discharge Certificate.
- Parent/Guardian Consent Form.
- Acknowledgment Form.
Nigerian Navy Form Closing Date
The Nigerian Navy form closing date 2020 is Monday, 5th October 2020.
