The latest report reaching us from Gombe State University, (Gsu) is that there was fire outbreak in the Institution. www.nigeriaschool.com.ng
According to the report, the Fire outbreak began around 10.AM in the department of accounting of the Gombe State University.
As at the time of writing this report, the real cause of the fire is unknown, but some students said that the cause of the fire is the unsteady current of electricity from power station.
When the Nigeria fire service was contacted, as usual, they arrived with little amount of water, leading to no solution in putting off the flames.
Kudos to the students of GSU who tried their best to ensure that the fire is put off and also to the school Gardeners too who provided water tanker to assist in supplying water to the supposed Fire Service who should be the one supplying water.
We were reliably informed that All document was burnt down to ashes.
