The latest information reaching us is that the National Board For Technical Education (NBTE) has accredited seven New courses in Adamawa State Polytechnic, Yola.
The Management of the institution, on Thursday confirmed the accreditation and approval of seven new courses in the institute by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE). www.nigeriaschool.com.ng
While addressing news men, the Rector of Adamawa State Polytechnic, Yola Professor Bobboi Umar said, the accreditation was first of its kind in the history of the institution. Freebrowsinglink
In his own word, Professor Bobboi Umar said “the institution is able to record a remarkable achievement where about seven new courses were accredited by the NBTE.”
The Following Accreditated Course are:
– mass communication,
– social development,
– business administration and four other engineering courses.
The Professor said, there are new development that will soon be created in the institution.
According to him, the management of the institution is making arrangement to establish a radio station where students will receive training, following the approval of the mass communication course.
Prof. Umar, however, said that the institution was making effort to ensure that the accreditation of other relevant courses was successful during the next visit of the board. www.nigeriaschool.com.ng
The Rector told News men that the state government of Adamawa had spent a lot of fund in upgrading and expansion of the institution where nine departments and administrative buildings were been constructed.
In his own word, prof Umar said and i quote, “Government has also supplied the institution with modern and sophisticated teaching equipment that can compete with any polytechnic in the country,”.
Kudo’s to the Staff and Rector of Adamawa State Polytechnic, Yola for working toward Accreditation of their courses, unlike Uniabuja.
