The latest report reaching our news desk has it that the The Lagos State Polytechnic of Technology, LASPOTECH, would be closing all her satellite campuses across the country by the year 2015.
The Rector of the institution, Dr. Abdulazeez Abioye Lawal, speaking at the 22nd convocation ceremony, disclosed this to newsmen.
According to Rector, this move was necessitated by the directive of the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) that the Polytechnic should close all its annexes by 2015.
The institution is currently working on ensuring that all outstanding results are ready by making it possible for students that have outstanding courses have their re-sit within the time period given by the NBTE.
All students who are affected should take note of this information.

Good day. Please I need to understand something here. If all of Laspotech satellite campuses are closed down, where would students resume for lectures? What about students wanting to register for part time courses and thinking to study at Isolo satellite campus, like me? What would they do about this?
If the all satelites are closed, there is no need to apply for it.
