KASU Approved Academic Calendar for 2013/2014 Academic Session

WE are using this platform to inform the members of the general public and most especially all the students of the Kaduna State University, (KASU) that the school authority has just released her academic calendar for the 2013/2014 academic session. All students of the institution are expected to take note of the dates, most especially the exams dates.


1. Registration of Returning Students, 31st March – 4th Apr, 2014 (1 Week).
2. Lectures for all Students, 7th Apr – 24th May, 2014 ( 7 Weeks).
3. Mid-Semester Break, 25th May – 1st June, 2014 ( 1 Week).
4. Lectures for all Students, 2nd June – 12th July, 2014 ( 6 Weeks).
5. Release of Continuous Assessment Results, 4th July, 2014.
6. Examination and Marking; 14th – 26th July, 2014 (2 Weeks)
7. Compilation of Results by Departments, 28th July – 1st August, 2014 (1 Week)
8. Consideration of Results by Faculty Board, 4th – 5th August, 2014.
9. Consideration of Results by Senate, 7th August, 2014.
10. Release of Results, 8th August, 2014.
11. First Semester Break, 27th July-10th August, 2014.


1. Lectures for all Students, 11th August – 27th September, 2014 (7 Weeks).
2. Mid-Semester Break, 28th Sept – 5th October, 2014 (1 Week).
3. Lectures for all Students, 6th Oct – 15th November, 2014 (6 Weeks).
4. Release of Continuous Assessment Results, 7th November, 2014.
5. Examinations and Marking, 17th – 29th November, 2014 (2 Weeks).
6. Compilation of Results by Departments, 1st – 5th December, 2014.
7. Consideration of Results by Faculty Boards, 8th – 9th Dec, 2014.
8. Consideration of Results by Senate, 11th December, 2014.
9. Release of Results, 12th Dec, 2014.
10. End of Session Break, 30th Nov, 2014 – 4th Jan, 2015(5 Weeks).
