[Official] JAMB 2019 Registration Closing Date is 15th March, 2019

UPDATE: The closing date for the Registration of the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) as announced by the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB), is 21st February, 2019. Official: JAMB 2019 registration closing date extended!

JAMB Registration closing date extended

We were reliably informed that the JAMB 2019 Registration closing date has been extended to Friday, 15th March, 2019. Therefore, interested individuals who are yet to apply for the Jamb Examination should do so before the closing date.

The JAMB Board warned that there will be no further extension, any candidate who fails to register on or before the deadline will have to wait for UTME 2020/2021. No more extension.

What is the closing Date for Jamb 2019 Registration (UTME)

It was previously announced that Jamb registration for the 2019 will end on the 21st February, 2019. But the closing date is now 15th March, 2019.

The Board’s Head of Media, Fabian Benjamin said and I quote, “Candidates who have gained admissions into various institutions and are yet to register or do not have admissions by January 2nd should begin to make preparations for the 2020 UTME“.

Important Notice: All candidates who wish to change their choices of Institution are  encouraged to do so on or before the close of the Jamb registration or pay to do so after the results has been released.

JAMB Result Validity

The UTME results are currently valid for only one (1) year, and the board will inform candidates if there is any decision to extend the result validity.
