Breaking News: Candidates That Had System Failure And Those That Missed The Examination Will Re-take It – JAMB.
LATEST information reaching us has it that The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), Registrar, Professor Dibu Ojerinde has stated that candidates who missed their UTME Examination because they were relocated will be given the another chance to resit for the JAMB 2016 Examination.

Also JAMB Candidates who had system failure during the UTME Examination would be given the opportunity to retake it, once it is proven by the board that their complaints are genuine.
On the issue of students with conflicting results, Prof. Dibu said, “Let me use this opportunity to offer explanation on the issue of the much-publicized two results. The process of our marking involves transformation and other qualitative programming.
In the process of these configurations, we had a little challenge which we quickly corrected and ensured that this never happened in subsequent results.
This challenge was only associated with the candidates that sat for this examination on Saturday, 27, February and some candidates of Monday, 29th February, 2016.”
He also disclosed that out of the 1,546,633 candidates that sat for the 2016 UTME, 145,704 had issues of multiple results which have been resolved by the JAMB board.
He however stated that results of Uromi approved UTME Centre in Edo State, were being withheld as a result of massive malpractice and invasion of the centre by armed hoodlums.
He blamed the technical hitches experienced in some of the centres on the operators of the centers as some of them hired equipment just to pass the accreditation process only to be found wanting on the examination day.
He further stated that reverting to Pencil-Paper Test as directed by the House of Representatives will invariably amount to taking one step forward and two steps backwards.
“Even the physically challenged are taking the CBT examination. One of the blind candidates scored 286, so why should others complain? He queried.

I had seriouse set back on my jamb day which was friday 4 March 2016. This was as a result of changed of examination center which took several munites before i got the info that my exam center has been changed, on getting to the new center the supervisor said i was late already. This led to my few operation in system before i was logged out without submiting my work.

I also had a system failure @ Benchmark Educational centre by Bannana Junction Orlu in Imo State… Jamb should do something because my result isn’t convincing.. Our systems hanged for sum minutes and we couldn’t finish our questions
I guess we wrote the same day at the same centre cox I had the same experience. I wrote on 29th from 6:30-9:00

I also encounter system failure at my centre my system switch off more than 7times and my time did not wait and the invigilator did not attend to me quickly and at the end of the exam one of the invigilator log me out and ask me to stand up, and at the end of my mark was very low. so what am I going to do in the cause of this?

I also had system failure I wrote mine at rolin kings institute and management into ekpene akwaibom state.my system was going off and if they on it back after some time it will go off again and when I discovered that I had no time left I decided to to be fast on it but on fortunately I got 175.please jamb should help us out we are pleading.
We shall never forgive the UTME because they hold my result and later released it with a failure twicely. God forbid.

l wrote 2016/2017 jamb on the 29 of march at charm city garki abuja l also had system failure mine occurred up to 6 times l wasn’t given enough time to complete my exams before the system was switched off from the server unfortunately I got 197.

I also had a similar problem with sytem fali ur the mouse i used hang up,up to 4 time also the calculator was not working at the end what i saw as my score was not encourageing,my centre was ict centre umudike on feb 29 by 6.30 am

jamb are really something else because what I first saw was not what I printed as a result

Well, there is nothing you can do about it now. According to JAMB, there is no re-schedule of exams for candidates in 2018 UTME.
Hollo please i lost my best friend in an accident, and i travel for his burial, i came back by 10am on Monday 12th of march and nothing was sent to my mail so i went to cafe and found out that my paper was to be by 7am that same day please let them temper mercy and help me please . I understand your plight and RIP to your friend. But since you have missed the exam, there is nothing you or I can do. Unless, JAMB decided to re-write the exams for people who missed it.
I went to the cafe I bought my jamb to reprint my slip on the 20 of February the girl I met to LD me that no need to reprint it that it will be sent to me as text or email so I opened my email I saw nothing I now went to the cafe on 12 of march not knowing my exam was on 10 of march I went to my centre they told me that there would be another jamb this septe mber I want to know if it will be retaken my exam no is c01602105 thank you
you can’t retake your exam. you will have to buy new 2019 JAMB form
I missed my jamb cause of the relocation of the center of the exam on the 12 to 13 of April and I got the information last getting to the center the exam has finished I need help I really need to write this exam
If you missed the 2019 UTME. We don’t know if there is going to be any opportunity again.
However, we will wait for JAMB official announcement after the examination.
But I hear that in two weeks time jamb will give those that missed their exam the opportunity to resit for the exam
