UTME 2017: JAMB Reduces Exam Questions to 180 & Exam time to 2 hours

The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB has reduced the number of UTME questions and the time for the CBT examination. As we know already, all the candidates sitting for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, (UTME) would spend two hours instead of three hours.

UTME 2017: JAMB Reduces Exam Questions to 180 & Exam time to 2 hours

The Test on Use of English which used to be 100 questions has been reduced to 60 questions, while the other three subjects would be 40 questions each, making a total of 180 questions.

New JAMB Exam Format for 2017/2018 UTME

The 2017 UTME Questions & Time Format will now be as follows;

1. Time to answer all questions: 2 Hours
2. Use of English: 60 Questions
3. Other 3 Subjects: 40 Questions Each
4. Total Number of Questions: 180
