Breaking News: The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB has stopped candidates awaiting their O’level results from participating in the Universities Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), starting from the 2017/2018 Session. The spokesman of the Jamb Board, Mr. Fabian Benjamin, disclosed this in a statement issued on Tuesday, 28th February, 2017.
He said this is one of the outcomes of the restructuring exercise embarked upon by the organisation under the leadership of Ishaq Oloyede, who is the current registrar of the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, Jamb.
Mr. Fabian also revealed that the sale of Jamb UTME Application forms would commence in March 2017 and added that henceforth, candidates would have to submit their O’level results before admission process begins.
He also revealed that candidates have been restricted to the choice of only one public university.
