Commerce is a branch of economics that studies the exchange of goods and services especially on a large scale between buyers and sellers intending to satisfy human needs. Computer Studies

Computer Studies is the subject that deals with the general knowledge of computing as well as computer terminologies. Some Nigerian universities examine potential candidates for university education in their Post UTME.


Current Affairs

Current Affairs is a general knowledge type of question that deals with facts and figures and other events affecting Nigeria, and indeed the world over. Some universities test candidates on this subject to know how far they are current on the affairs of Nigeria.


Economics

English Language

The English language is the core language of most countries and the official language of Nigeria. It is a subject that must be passed before your WAEC, NECO is complete, other things being equal. You cannot gain admission to study in any Nigerian university, either at JAMB UTME without meeting the expected standard in the English Language.


Fine Arts

Fine arts are a subject that tests creativity in the art of designing and creating things of intrinsic and aesthetic value rather than functional value. Examples of fine arts fields include: Painting, sculpture, drawing, graphics design, etc. fall within the fine art field.


French

French is a Romance language and is the official language of France. French is also spoken in some countries in Africa such as Cameroon, and Europe. Indeed French is one of the world’s major languages such as the English language, Russia, and German.


General Paper

General Paper often tests potential candidates for Nigerian Universities, and it is designed to test candidates’ ability to answer general knowledge questions in the science, art, social science, business, etc., it is often a compulsory paper in the JAMB and Post UTME exams.


Geography

Geography studies the landscape and its inhabitants and features, where countries of the world are located and the distances between regions and countries. History like the government is the study of keeping records of present and past events particularly those that relate to a particular subject or/and place. Home economics or domestic science is a field of study that examines the relationship between individuals, families, society, and the environment in which they find themselves. English Literature refers to the study of texts from around the world, written mainly in the English language. In the broader sense, English Literature refers to different types of text including novels, non-fiction, poetry, plays, etc.


Mathematics

Mathematics Is a subject that studies relationships, measurement, and properties of quantities and sets, using numbers and symbols. Arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and calculus are popular topics in mathematics. Mathematics is not a subject liked by some art students, particularly among the female folks.


Physics

Physics is central in the study of science and every science student offer physics in all the exams: WAEC, NECO, JAMB, and UTME. Physics is the science that concerns the nature and properties of matter and energy. To be included in the subject of physics are mechanics, heat, light and other radiation, sound, electricity, etc,.


Sweet Sixteen (Novel)

Sweet Sixteen” is a new subject in the JAMB exam, about a girl named Aliya, who is usually referred to by her father as ‘My First Lady’. Aliya is the character of the novel and frequently reminding her father that she has grown and no longer a child, though young an adult but her father refuses to agree with her.


Yoruba

Yoruba like Igbo and Hausa is a native language spoken in Nigeria by the Yoruba ethnic community found in the South West of Nigeria. Yoruba is spoken by the five Western states of Oyo, Ogun, Lagos, Ondo and Ekiti, and even in some West African countries.
