LATEST report reaching us has it that two candidates who sat for the on-going 2015 UTME, (Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination) computer base test over the weekend has been arrested by security agents following alleged examination malpractice.
Remind me again: How many years imprisonment for anyone caught in examination malpractice in Nigeria?
Here is a quick answer:‘whosoever is caught in examination malpractice will face 21 a year imprisonment. It is the legislation.’
Advice: Before you engaged in Examination Malpractice in Nigeria, you might want to have a re-think. Do you want to spend 21 years in prison for something you can do without cheating? Yes! That is reading your books before the examination! Don’t be an escape goat.
The candidates who were arrested at Esa-Oke, in Obokun Local Government Area of Osun State, Nigeria were said to have connived with one Mr Adebayo, the owner of Awolism Educational Consultant to perpetrate the unlawful act.
The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Osun State, Mrs. Folashade Odoro (DSP), when contacted by newsmen confirmed it and said investigation has commenced already and the culprits will face full wrath of the law at the end of the investigation.
Remember that the newly introduced computer based test is aimed at curbing examination malpractice in Nigeria.
