Jamb 2014 Update: Only 47 candidates Scored 250 and Above

The Joint Admissions Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the results of the 2014 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME) conducted last Saturday and all the candidates who participated in the Examination and are yet to check their result can do so by clicking here.

The Registrar of Jamb, prof. Dibu said that candidates are allowed to change their preferred institutions and courses once within two weeks of this announcement. If you want us to change your Institution or Courses for you, jamb change of course and Institution.

Meanwhile, The Registrar disclosed to us that only 24 candidates scored 250 points and above in the examination. He also said 315,401 candidates scored between 170 to 199 points, while 108,488 candidates scored between 200 to 249 points. You can read the full Jamb 2014 Statistics Here.

Am sure this year performance is very poor, the 2014 UTME (PPT AND DBT) conducted by JAMB last Saturday as stated above; out of the over 1.5 million candidates that sat for the examination, only 47 Candidates scored 250 and above – 24 candidates in PPT and 23 candidates in DBT. Well, am sure the Jamb cut-off mark for Universities, Polytechnics and College of Education will be very low, so if you score 160+ do not fret.

  1. d performance of 2014 jamb candidates has proved to be very poor…most parents must be vexed now but as a jamb official let me give a breakdown of what happened.
most of the areas with students having low results are mostly those who had their centres at ekiadolor, ekpoma, agbor, warri, asaba, jos and many more. this is due to the high level of malpractices recorded at these centres. since malpractice was so rampant it was difficult to get the culprits therefore all candidates in these areas were penalised heavily as their centre numbers were collected and marks were deducted. if u check the jamb answers and they correspond with the answers u gave am sorry but u were a victim. most of these candidates results were seized and those whose results were released got a result which wasn’t theirs. be careful next time

  2. I know parents must be vexed at the recent performance itz just dat the result of those in agbor asaba delta ekpoma and many more were penalize as they ddnt get their real rzultz
