LATEST report reaching us here at nigeriaschool has it that that the ASUU chapter of Imo State University, IMSU has embarked on a strike over school fees increment.
This strike action was coming after the IMSU convocation ceremony held on the 16th to 19th of March 2016.
A Copy of the memo declaring the IMSU strike was pasted at the school’s front gate and other locations within the campus.
We were reliably informed that the strike action is connected with the recent increment on the Imo State University school fees payable by non-indigenous students of the school as follows;
Faculty of Medicine – N190,000.00
Faculty of Law – N180,000.00
Faculty of Engineering – N180,000,00
Other Faculties – N150,000.00.
