The School management is inviting all prospective applicants who chose Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University, Lapai, as their Most Preferred Institution (FIRST CHOICE) in the 2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and scored a minimum of 150 and above are welcome to apply for the 2022/2023 admission exercise.

Eligibility

Applicants that made the Institution their FIRST CHOICE and scored an aggregate score of 150 and above in the 2022 UTME.

Note 1 All UTME prospective candidates are to check/verify their eligibility for the Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University UTME O’Level results screening/verification exercise.

Note 2. All the successful prospective candidate that has met the minimum requirements are to proceed to pay online via Paystack.

Note 3 The prospective candidate is required to make a payment of; Two thousand naira (N2,000.00) – to submit either ONE(1) or TWO(2) LEVEL RESULT(s). The amount includes bank/transaction charges.

How to Apply for IBBU Post UTME Screening

The verification and screening exercise is expected to starts from Monday, 8th August to 26th September 2022.

Stage 1: CANDIDATES ELIGIBILITY CHECK:

-Visit the University’s website; http://portals.ibbu.edu.ng/utmederesult/

-Scroll down to “UTME QUICK LINKS” and click on the Check eligibility link or CLICK HERE to check it.

-Enter your JAMB Registration Number to confirm if you are eligible. If eligible;
-Enter your mobile phone number & other required information to proceed.
-A transaction ID/invoice will be generated for the candidate. The candidate is to select a preferred payment option (Interswitch Branch Collect OR PAYSTACK).

Stage 2: PAYMENT:

– If Branch Collect is selected, a transaction ID/invoice slip will be generated to be printed out and taken to any of the following banks for payment via the Interswitch platform (Fidelity Bank, First Bank, Heritage Bank, Keystone Bank, Polaris (Skye) Bank, Sterling Bank, Unity Bank, United Bank of Africa). Other banks will be listed subsequently.

– If Paystack is selected as the preferred payment option, the candidate will be re-directed to Paystack page to make the payment online.

– Further details on how to use the Interswitch payment platform are available on the UTME/DE Result Screening Portal.

Stage 3: RESULT SUBMISSION:

Candidates who have completed the second stage of the screening should proceed to the third stage immediately after making their payment. They are to log into the portal using their UTME Registration Number and Phone No.

Candidates are advised to correctly input their results and any other requested information on the portal. Candidates may after submission print out their submission acknowledgment slip for personal reference only.

The sales and submission of the IBBU Lapai Post-UTME Screening Form deadline are 26th September 2022.

    1. The closing date has not been announced. But it is better to applied now, rather than wait for the last minutes.

    someone should pls help me out urgently, I hv done the necessary change of institution since tuesday 12th september,2017 and uptil now the system is saying am not eligible, am somehow confused about it pls help ooo, my jamb reg no is 75864105EG, I shall b glad for your maximum assistance in dis regard.

  2. pls, candidates who changed to IBBUL are suffering while trying to apply for post screening exercise, the system often saying they are not eligible. we urge concerned administrators should please, do something possible and positive to the problem by effecting their change of institutions, particularly my sister, whose details follow;

    I apply for ibbul as my first choice, and they have stated they screening and my neco result is yet to come out how can I do now pls.
