VFS Global Online Visa Assist:

All Nigerians who are interested in applying for the Australian visa, should know that the Online Visa Assist service includes assistance with completing, submitting and paying for your online application at the VFS Global Australian Biometric Collection Centre.

The payment method only allows international debit/credit card as the online Australia visa application can only be done in Australian Dollars.

Along with the visitor visa fee, you will be charged an extra NGN 6,000 for the provided assistance.

Service Charge:

In addition to the visa fee, you will have to pay the VFS Global service charge of NGN 8,500 or More. Take note that this payment must be made via card only at the Visa Australian Biometric Collection Centre, either in Lagos state or FCT Abuja.

1. Valid International Passport.

2. Completed Visa Application Form.

You can kickstart your application by visiting the official portal, which is, the Australian Government’s ImmiAccount portal. Note that there are two types of account. The Individual and organisation account.

You can create an individual account if you’re applying for yourself, a family member acting on behalf of an applicant
a friend. While you can create an organisation ImmiAccount if you are from an organisation, a registered migration agent or from a sponsoring company.

This is the same procedure for Nigerians applying for the Australia Visa, you should be capable of showing that you can finance your stay (Food, accommodation, Health, etc), to get your Visa approved.

This includes:

Bank statements (usually 6 months)
Payslips or business financial records
Sponsorship letters if someone else is funding your trip

The amount required depends on your visa type and length of stay. For example, students need to show funds for tuition fees, living expenses, and available fund to purchase a return ticket after your stay in the country.
