What’s A Cut-Off Mark?
The (FUOYE) cut-off mark is the minimum score an applicant must obtain in order to apply for admission into the Federal University. We’re talking about your UTME score here, or what most people refer to as the JAMB score.
Every university in Nigeria has its cut marks score for the various courses in their university, and the cut-off mark changes every year.
There are several factors that determine the cut-off marks, the course you’re applying for and the number of applicants for each course can play a role in specifying the cut-off marks.
What’s The Cut-Off Mark For FUOYE?
You have to score at least 150 in the UTME examination before you’re eligible to apply for any of the courses offered in FUOYE.
This is only the minimum requirement for gaining admission, but you will find that some courses will require that you score at least 200 in the UTME examination, such as Engineering, Architecture, or Theatre and Media Arts. Also, you will find some courses that require a minimum score of 170, 180, and so on.
A lot of courses are offered in FUOYE that require just 160, and only a handful have 150 as their cut-off marks. You can always check to see the minimum cut-off marks for the courses you want to apply to so that you know whether you are eligible or not.
