2015 General Elections: FG Decides Schools Closure Today

DUE to the upcoming 2015 general election, the Federal Government will today, 2nd February, 2015 decide if the Schools (Private and Public schools) will go on a temporary break to ensure violence free election! (www.nigeriaschool.com.ng)

According to the report, the parents and other stakeholders in the sector demands that the schools be closed during the election period, and they are calling on the federal government to shut down schools during the election period as schools will be target for miscreants that would want to cause mayhem in the 2015 election.

On this note, the ministry of Education has called upon all commissioners of education and other stakeholders for a brief meeting by Monday (today) 2:00 pm so that the issue can be discussed.

We will inform you the outcome of the meeting and let you know what they decides.
