We have just been reliably informed that the strike embarked by the Academic Staff Union of Polytechnic, ASUP might be called off next week tuesday, 24th June, 2014.
On NTA News -> “The FG have agreed to sign MOU with ASUP.”
Once the MOU is signed hopefully on Tuesday, the ASUP President is expected to suspend the strike unconditionally as promised.
This is what The Federal Polytechnic, Bida (ASUP-BD) is banking on.
That’s all we know for now.
Special thanks to Pamela Ibrahim for the news update above.
Alright, if you are a reader of NigeriaSchool, you will notice we don’t care much about ASUP vs FG Super stories.
And hopefully, this will not be another super story. The Nigerian Polytechnic Students have been at home long enough.
We need this strike to be called off before election madness begins, if not, no hope for Polytechnic Students!
If you heard the rumour that ASUP Strike will be called off 24th June, 2014. Then know it is no rumour because it was aired on NTA News yesterday.
However, it will become one when no concrete evidence is given that the strike will end next week.
For now, that is all we know.
Please share this news with our friends on twitter and Facebook.
