Fedpoly Ado Applauds Suspension of Striker by Trade Union

THE FEDERAL POLYTECHNIC, ADO-EKITI – FPA MANAGEMENT COMMENDS SUSPENSION OF STRIKE BY UNIONS

Latest information reaching us has it that the authorities of the Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti have commended the suspension of the strike action embarked upon by the three Trade Unions in the Institution, saying that it was a welcome relief that the Institution could now resume full academic activities.

In a press statement by the Deputy Registrar, Information Ade Adeyemi-Adejolu said Management was prepared to abide by the terms of the negotiated peace within the resources available to the Institution.

The statement added that the Rector, Dr. Taiwo Akande admonished the Trade Unions and staff to move straight to their scheduled engagements in order to cover the lost grounds due to the strike.
