EKSU Lecturers Embark on A Strike Action Over Non-Payment of Salaries

LATEST report reaching us has it that Ekiti State University, ESKU Lecturers yesterday, 4th March, 2015 embarked on an indefinite strike over the non-payment of their salaries.

According to our source, academic activities in the institution are currently put on hold.

The Chairman of EKSU chapter of the Academic Staff Union of Universities, Prof. Olufayo Oluodo, while speaking newsmen, he said that the non-payment of salaries has made life difficult for the lecturers and left them with no other option than to stay away from classes until their wares are paid.

We will inform you when the strike is called off.
