Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, Jamb portal for checking admission status
THIS is to inform the general public that the Joint Admission and Matriculations Board, JAMB admission status checking portal for the 2017/2018 prospective students has been enabled.

The Jamb official portal has been redesign and you can now follow the steps outlined below to easily check your Jamb admission status.
All the candidates who applied for admission into their school of choice, and participated in the Post UTME Screening exercise are advice to check their admission status on Jamb portal.
A few weeks ago, The Public Relations Officer, Dr Fabian Benjamin of the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) said the portal has opened the for checking of admission status for the 2016/17 academic session.
Following JAMB directive mandating all Higher Tertiary Institution in Nigeria to end the 2016/2017 academic session admission exercise on or before 31st of October, 2015.
Some institutions have started sending the names of candidates they offered admission to JAMB, and JAMB has started uploading the names of admitted candidates on their portal.
How To Check Jamb Admission Status
Follow the steps provided below to check your admission status on Jamb website.
step 1. JAMB-UTME and Direct Entry candidates can now access their admission status from JAMB portal by CLICKING HERE

step 2. When the page loads up, type your JAMB Registration Number in the space provided
step 3. Click on the “Check Admission Status” button and your admission status will be displayed on your computer screen.
Candidates whose names appeared on JAMB website can go ahead to print their admission letter.
It is important that you also check your name on your school official portal when it is released. Sometimes, you might see your name on Jamb portal and not see it on your school website.
