The latest report reaching us reveals that the Minister Of Education, Prof. Ruqayat Rufai has been relieved of her duties by the president, among Nine other ministers, the names of the Sacked Minister are as follow:
Names of Ministers Sacked by President GoodLuck Jonathan are;
Minister Science and Technology – Ita Okon.
Minister of Power, State – Zainab Kunchi.
Education minister – Ruqayat Rufai.
Minister of Environment – Hadiza – Mailafia.
Minister of Agriculture, State – Buka Jinani.
Minister for National Planning – Shamsudeen Usman.
Minister at Foreign Affairs – Olugbenga Ashiru.
Minister for Lands – Ama Pepple and
No report was made if the sacking of the Minister of Education, is in relation to the ongoing strike by the Academic staff Union of Universities, ASUU. What is the hope of the Asuu Strike? We hope the new Minister of Education will step into office by suspending Asuu strike and authorize all Lecturers to return to office/school.

If the sacking of the minister of edu will end the strike is a welcome development. the president should also look at the finance minister, they should call off the strike for God sake. Nigeria is not poor,we are a blessed country,okay just imagine Ngeria released 50,000pounds to purchase golden iphone to celebrate her 53yrs independent.
