ASUP Strike: Federal Poly Nekede Pulls Out Of ASUP Strike – Students To Resume 9th June, 2014!!

The latest breaking news reaching us from Federal Polytechnic Nekede has it that they have pulled out of ASUP Strike! And order all the Students to return to classroom on or before 9th June, 2014.
The Academic Staff of Union of Polytechnics (ASUP) has been struggling to ensure that their demands are met before they return to classrooms may be suffering a setback with some polytechnics pulling out of the lingering strike.

The Academic Staff Union Of Polytechnics, embarked on an indefinite strike action since last year (2013) to compel the Federal Government to implement the agreement reached with the union in the year 2009.

Fed Poly Nekede Resumption Date
We are reliably inform that the ASUP – Federal Polytechnic Nekede Chapter has officially pulled out of the ongoing ASUP industrial strike. And on that note, Nekede Poly students will resume for 2013/2014 academic year as follows:

Resumption Date: Monday, 9th June, 2014.

All Freshers (new) and Returning (old) students are expected back to school on or before the 9th of June, 2014 as lectures will commence immediately.

All interested student should take note that they will not be admitted into any lecture room/hall of residence without evidence of complete payment of all outstanding and current school fees.

Final Conclusion: All the students of Federal Polytechnic Nekede, Owerri should call/contact their friends and course-mates before traveling to school.
