Latest information reaching us reveals that about 55 students of the Yaba College of Technology who took to the streets to protest the ongoing industrial strike embarked upon by the Academic Staff Union of University, ASUP and the Federal Government, were beating up and arrested by the Nigerian police. In the same vein, Polytechnic Students who were protesting in Lagos State, Nigeria were also force to enter into Black Maria like common criminals. (And we were reliably inform that most of the Poly Students forced to enter the black maria are girls. And you know how deceitful our Army/Police are)

We are told that the buses carrying the protesting students were badly damaged – and this may result to accident! If care is not taken!
A journalist with Sahara Reporters, Mr. Segun Akinpelu, was also beaten while his camera and other gadgets were destroyed by the Nigeria Police. (That is what they know how to do BEST, our Girls in Chibok #BringBackOurGirls has been missing for months now and they have not done anything 😀 )
WHile speaking with Newsmen, the spokesperson of the Joint Action Front, whose members joined the students during the protest has condemned the attack on the students saying that it is a pointer to the fact that the government is not even ready to resolve the issue.
