THE latest information reaching our news desk has it that the JAMB Registrar , Professor Dibu Ojerinde has with regard to 2014/2015 admissions called on all higher institutions of learning to adhere strictly to the guidelines which stipulates a 60:40 Science/arts ratio, 45,35,20 of Federal ratio, 70:30 of Technology/non-Technology ratio, as well as the ratio of 40:40:20 (merit/catchment area/educationally less developed area) for state owned institutions.
He told newsmen that all admissions for the 2014/2015 academic session will end on Friday, October 31st, 2014.
Meanwhile all the applicants who applied for admission should be informed that the Candidates Admission Status will be made available this week Probably before 27th August, 2014.
How does this concern Jamb 2014 Candidates?
All the candidates who applied for admission into any higher tertiary institution should take note that all schools will release their admission list on or before 31st October, 2014.
But
how true is this?
Well, it is a Lie, we hear everyday…. We hear this every other year. (And trust, we know what we are talking about!)
The Universities/Polytechnics and College of Education will NOT adhered to this info, and most school will still released admission list until next year, 2015! So if you are not admitted after 13st October, 2014. Don’t worry, more admission lists will still be released.
But,
this might change if the school REALLY ADHERE to the Jamb Registrar.
