Abia State Poly: No School Fees, No Exam Policy Approved

THE School Management of Abia State Polytechnic has finally reached an agreement with the Student Union Government, SUG on ‪#‎NO_school‬ fees_No Exam policy.

The Abia Polytechnic First Semester Examination is set to start from 18th April,2016.
To avoid any possible conflict between the Students and School Management on the Policy of No School fees, No examination.

The School management had a closed door meeting with Executive Members of SUG.
The management after a close door meeting with the Student Union Government, have agreed that the students will write exams for the first one week without being drove out for school fees.

The SUG President who spoke in favour of the students said that the management should allow the students to pay less than #30,000 as part payment of school fees. Reacting to the President’s speech , the Rector agreed that the students should pay at least #25,000 as part payment of school fees.

However, the Rector said that any student who is not able to meet up with this little demand during the first week of exams will be drove out of the exams hall.

Therefore, we plead that the students should try as much as they can to pay at least #25,000 as part payment of school fees within the first week of the exams which commence on Monday 18th April 2016.
