Educational news reaching us has it that the Vice-Chancellor of Adekunle Ajasin University Akungba-Akoko (AAUA), wants to graduate a total of 4,053 students as First Class Students in the forthcoming convocation Ceremony.
According to the source, the vice chancellor of the university, Professor Igbekele Amos Ajibefun, made this open announcement during a press briefing heralding the 6th Convocation Ceremony of the university coming up on Friday, December 18, 2015.
Mr. Professor Igbekele officially said that “4,053 would be awarded First Degrees, 130 will be given Master’s degrees, 20 will bag PhDs while 107 will obtain Diplomas” respectively.
In additional to that, Professor Amos also said that among those First Degree graduands 18 will graduate with First Class Degree honours 787 will graduate with Second Class Upper Division, 2,500 with Second Class Lower Division, 702 Third Class, while 46 finished their programmes with the Pass grade.
And lastly, “Some honorary awards would be conferred on some deserving Nigerians” Professor Amos also added that.
