According to the latest information reaching us here at has it that the University of Lagos, Unilag will at its upcoming 2015 Convocation Ceremony graduate 10,600 students for the 2013/2014 academic session.

And about 125 of the students will be graduating with First Class Degrees. A 21-year old Akinpelumi Korede of the Department of Chemical Engineering emerged the best graduating student with Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 4.96.

The VC of University of Lagos, Professor Rahamon Bello disclosed whole interacting with newsmen ahead of the forth coming Convocation Ceremony.

During the interaction with the newsmen, we were informed that about 4,768 of the graduating students would be awarded higher degrees in Postgraduate Diplomas, Masters Degrees and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD).

Speaking with the soon-to-be best graduating student, Akinpelumi Korede, of Chemical Engineering, he said that his success was a result of hard work.

While speaking with newsmen, he said, he maintained 5.0 CGPA consistently for 6 whole semesters, such that getting three B,s in his third year became his worst nightmare in the University.
