WE are using this medium to inform all the JAMB 2014 Candidates who chose Umaru Musa Yar’adua University, Katsina, UMYU as their choice of institution in the 2014 UTME that the school management has announced its screening exercise for the 2014/2015 Academic Session.
All Candidates who made UMYU as their choice in the Jamb 2014 UTME must have obtained Five(5) Credits in relevant ‘O ’ Level subjects, at not more than two(2) sittings and must have scored a minimum of 180 marks and above in the 2014 UTME (JAMB)
How to Apply
Eligible candidates should pay the sum of N1,000 (One thousand Naira) only for the (Computer Based Test)CBT exercise and N2,000 (Two thousand Naira) only for the University processing fee.
Step 1. Applicants should visit any commercial Bank across the federation/Nigeria to make payment for the purchase of the Umaru Musa Yar’adua University 2014 Post-UTME pin-Code on eTranzact Platform and obtain the eTranzact payment Receipt.
Step 2. Candidates are to access the UMYU online registration portal at; www.umyu.edu.ng – And when the webpage loads up, click on the “Post-UTME Application” under Main Menu to get to the payment confirmation login page.
Step 3. Then click on the “Confirm Application Fee” and supply the Confirmation Order Number and UTME Registration Number on your eTranzact payment Receipt, and then click on the confirm button beneath the Login box.
Step 4. After successful login, Candidates are required to fill in the Online Form accordingly, upload most recent passport photograph and click on the “submit” button.
Step 5. After submission of the form, candidates shall be prompted with the Print the acknowledgment/Screening Schedule Page where a hard-copy output shall be produced, which will contain the summary of the filled Bio-data, exams date, time schedules, batch number and a Photo-passport of the candidate.
UMYU 2014/2015 SCREENING DATE
The UMYU 2014/2015 Post UTME Screening Exercise will take place from Monday 11th August, to Saturday 16th August, 2014 using Computer Based Test (CBT) platform and the venue is the Umaru Musa Yar’adua University premises.
Candidates for the Post UTME screening exercise are advised to be decently dressed. Candidates with indecent dressing will not be allowed into the school premises as well as the screening hall.
Phones and all other forms of mobile communication, electronic devices, bags and luggage are not allowed within the screening premises.
Only registered candidates for the screening exercise will be allowed into the screening premises.
All prospective students of Umaru Musa Yar’adua University should take note that the online Registration for the Post UTME screening will end on Sunday 10th August, 2014.
