The ongoing ASUP strike seems to have no end as the hopes and as aspirations of all students of Federal Polytechnics were dashed last week when a reliable source made it known that the strike continues.
With this ugly situation, some of the students including my humble self have embarked on a spiritual cure for the Asup strike since we think the physical solution may not be enough.
FUNNY SOLUTION TO ASUP STRIKE FOUND AT LAST
In my effort to bring the strike to an end, I went to Akoko area yesterday where I met a popular Ifa priest, Baba Fakunle. Though, Baba Fakunle doesn’t understand what ASUP means but I tried my best ability to explain to him and what brought me to him. After I told him how Jonathan Goverment shows non-challant attitude to the demands of ASUP to the extent that several meetings held by the union and FG were not fruitful and meet the dreams of the students. I said, ‘Baba, this is our tenth month of staying at home. We are doing nothing at home and we are consuming more than enough food at home. I continued that many of us have gotten promotion on facebook, 2go and twitter while we make no single progress in our academics. Many of our ladies are also pregnant, Baba, what’s the
solution?’ I asked.
Baba Fakunle asked from Ifa after I dropped 2,000 naira. He placed the cowries side by side after eulogising the ancestors, he began ‘Ifa O gbo o, akere finu s’ogbon, akoni ni mo bi iyekan eni, ma fire pebi, ma fibi pere, ma fololo fohun, bi oro PASUP (Baba was referring to ASUP) ba se je ni o wi o. O ya la hanmi ni bata n ke lotufe.
After this, Baba Fakunle looked at me and commended my effort on behalf of Nigerian students and gave out this solution according to Ifa. Baba continued.
‘My son, Ifa said the solution to PASUP strike is simple. He began to mention five big rams, 250 yards of modern native wear, 500 crates of local gin and any of Jonathan’s daughter studying in Nigeria.
Once we can get those things and bring them to him through me, the strike is solved. Now, my fellow students, I’ve provided those things except that of Jonathan’s daughter. How do we go about that because Baba said if we didn’t do it now, the strike may last till when we never expect. Who can help us find Jonathan’s daughter studying in Nigeria?
Moral of the story:
The truth of the matter is that Our Leaders Children are not studying in Nigeria, so how do we expect them to know what we are passing through.
May God Help Nigeria.

Note: The writer of this article is not Anti-Jonathan. We believe in him and know he is doing everything to end the ASUP Strike… However, we believe there are some people somewhere who are trying to make Nigeria Ungovernable.
So I asked this question: Now That Nigeria Is Ungovernable What Next?
