THE latest report reaching us here at nigeriaschool.com.ng has it that the Federal Government, (FG) is set to establish Computer-Based Test, (CBT) Centres in over 774 Local Government Areas in Nigeria for the conduct of Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME by the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB.
This information was made known to newsmen by the Registrar and Chief Executive of JAMB, Prof ‘Dibu Ojerinde, while monitoring the on-going UTME in Abuja.
According to Prof. Dibu, the JAMB CBT Centers will be ready before 2016 JAMB-UTME.
While commenting on the progress of the Exam so far, Prof. Ojerinde admitted that there were few challenges encountered on the first day of the examination in some of the centres across the country but said the Board has overcome those hiccups as the examination is progressing smoothly in all the centres.
He told journalist that that the CBT examination would be smooth next year as new and standard centres would have been put in place by the Federal government.
