The latest information reaching us reveals that the Cross River University of Technology, (CRUTECH) has finally pulled out of the 5 months old strike embarked by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU).
This news was made known by the Crutech registrar (the memo was pasted in the school notice board) directing all students to resume today 9th December, 2013 as academic activities will start on the same day.
According to our source, a lot of students were in school as well many lecturers but no lecture was held, there were speculations that ASUU CRUTECH chapter will hold a meeting today being 10th December, 2013, but a lecturer who pleaded anonymity, told our source (students) that they are ready to resume work as they were already fed up with the hunger strike by ASUU, and urge students to inform their colleagues to resume school ASAP.
Meanwhile, we will keep you informed on the outcome of the meeting by Crutech-Asuu Lecturers.
